fenecdb beside the databases it is most often weighed against: when to choose each, feature by feature.

Each page starts with when to choose the other database, then a table in which every claim about the other links its source, the numbers we measured with their method, and how to move across.

  • PostgreSQL

A relational server, measured on YCSB, and with pgvector at a million vectors.

  • SQLite

With sqlite-vec, FTS5 and the official WebAssembly build.

  • PGlite

PostgreSQL in the browser with pgvector, and what each downloads.

Where a claim about another product comes from, and its date

A claim about another product says where it comes from, and the date on each page is when its facts were checked. A number is on these pages only where it was measured, on the machine and by the method its page gives; where nothing was measured, the page says so. A correction is welcome as an issue in the repository.
